Privacy Policy

Travel Loom respects your privacy.

Travel Loom does not collect, sell, rent, or share your personal information for advertising, analytics, or marketing purposes.

Data not collected by the app

  • No account information
  • No social graph
  • No public reviews or ratings
  • No automatic photo-library scanning, and no read access to the Photos library (camera saves use add-only access)
  • No continuous location history
  • No automatic calendar, notes, message, or email access

Information You Store in the App

Travel Loom allows you to save information such as:

  • Trip titles, dates, destination summaries, and notes entered by the user
  • Trip-day titles, overnight locations, and summaries entered by the user
  • Planned activities and journal entries entered by the user
  • Saved places selected or created by the user
  • Photos and videos explicitly selected by the user through the system photo picker
  • Photos and videos (up to 60 seconds, with audio) the user takes with the in-app camera (Take Photo or Video). When “Also Save to Photos Library” is on (the default), a full-quality copy is added to the Photos library using add-only access, with the note’s coordinates as the location when set
  • Microphone audio only while the user records a video
  • Optional coordinates manually entered by the user or captured from current location when available

This information is stored on your device only to provide the app’s features.

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your app data is stored in your private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit. This data is associated with your Apple ID and is not accessible to the developer except as provided by Apple’s private CloudKit infrastructure for your account.

Permissions

Travel Loom may request access to:

  • Location, to help you view and save places on the map
  • Photos, to let you attach images or videos to saved locations
  • Camera, to capture photos or videos in the app
  • Microphone, when recording video
  • iCloud, to sync your saved data across your devices

These permissions are used only for app functionality.

Data Sharing

Travel Loom does not sell your data, use third-party advertising SDKs, or track you across apps or websites.

Data Retention

Your data remains on your device and, if enabled, in your private iCloud account until you delete it.

Children’s Privacy

Travel Loom does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be reflected in the current version of this policy.
